Travis Glendale Littlejohn, 69, of Monahans, TX passed away om September 13, 2018 surrounded by family.
Visitation will be 4PM to 6PM on Monday, September 17th at Harkey Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will be Tuesday, September 18th at 2 PM at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Gordon Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
Travis was born in Knox City, TX to D. N. and Lillie (Weaver) Littlejohn on December 23, 1948. Travis fought a courageous battle of Crohn’s Disease yet lived a full life and was a family man to the fullest. He met his soul mate and the love of his life, Glenda Marie Blont. They were married 36 years and he spent the majority of his good years devoting all his time to the care and wellbeing of his family.
Travis was an Army Vietnam Veteran from 1969 to 1971. He bravely battled his life in war and in his sickness.
Travis worked for Basin Tubing Testers for years and there gained a second family because the men he worked with became part of his heart.
Travis is preceded by his parents, his wife, brothers; Tex and Virgil Littlejohn and sister; Glenda and Leatha.
He is survived by his two daughters; Shirley Hernandez and husband Rick of Monahans, Shauna Moore and husband Mike of Odessa, brothers; Dallas Littlejohn and wife Valda, Tim Littlejohn and wife Debbie, Clovis Littlejohn and wife Penny, Doyle Littlejohn And Ronnie Littlejohn of Granbury, TX., sisters; Mary and husband Brian, Evelyn Murphrey and husband Elvie, of Clyde, Karen of Ennis, NM. Numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Travis was so looking forward for his 2 new great-grandsons that are on the way.
