Debra "Debby" Turner
July 20, 1953 - July 3, 2018
Obituary

Debra "Debby" Turner entered into rest on Tuesday, July 2, 2018. Debra is preceded in death by her mother, Jean Dant, and father, Robert Dant. She is survived by husband C. William "Bill" Turner, daughter Chandra Deas, sister Cheryl Tabor and grandson S. Chance Turner.

Her life was defined by her love of horses. Her goal for her home was a horse farm, which she named Rainbow's End. Most of her working life was spent at Old Frontier, a saddle and tack shop that catered to all of the area's needs. She also applied her love of photography to horses and founded Fotos by Debby, taking pictures of local horse shows and other activities even earning herself a spot as a photographer for the Olympics when they came to the region. Her photos are in veterinary offices, coffee table books, and in countless homes. She also loved to be active in the local schools including Band Boosters and PTA and read books to children as Storynana.

Family and friends will meet at 12:00 pm on Friday, July 20th for an informal Celebration of Life including a memorial tree planting at her residence followed by supper at 3:00pm at Tbonz Steakhouse on Washington Rd.

Please think of your best memories and funny stories for the events. She wanted us to celebrate her life not mourn her death. Please come in whatever clothes you feel comfortable in, there is no dress code.
