Dan Primmer of Greenacres, WA passed away on September 7, 2018 at Sullivan Park Care Center. Dan was born at Sacred Heart Hospital and raised in Valleyford, WA. He attended Lindbergh High School. Dan married Donna Ingram from Pilot Rock, OR and just had their 61st wedding anniversary. He worked for Wilcox Brothers, Spokane Diesel and retired from Torque A Matic. His favorite things to do were going to his buddy Don Bergman's Yaak River cabin, fishing, wood working and spending time with family and friends.
Dan is predeceased by his daughter Debra Primmer, parents Charles and Marguerite, brother Frank and sister Helen Laird.
He is survived by his wife Donna, daughters Dana (Gary) Huffman, granddog Jasmine, Darla Barrett, the best Pa ever to grandkids Bill Stocks, Jason (Pia) Harriman, Samantha Barrett, Lindsay (Jeff) Taylor and Joel Barrett, nine great-grandchildren, brothers Dennis (Virginia) and Fred (Deona), Aunt Lola Beilke, sister-in-law Betty (Buzz) Iverson, brother-in-law Jerry Ingram and and entire village of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will all miss his wisdom and heart.
Services will be held at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 11:00 am with the graveside following at Pines Cemetery. Viewing is scheduled Thursday, September 13 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. There will be an informal celebration at Samantha's home, with snacks and BYOB.
