Evelyn Jenkins, 78, Burley, died Tuesday morning, August 9, 2005, at a Pocatello health care facility. She was born July 19, 1927 at Sugar City to Edward Peter and Verna Mae Neibaur Sorensen. She married Dale Trent in 1954. They were later divorced. She married Dudley Jenkins in 1957. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Dudley preceded her in death in 1980.
She enjoyed reading, being a foster grandparent, playing cards, and crossword puzzles. Evelyn was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a daughter.
