LORENE D. LANDERS, 74, died Dec. 22, 2001, at her home (Dexter, MO).

Born Aug. 23, 1927, at Hope, Ark., daughter of the late John Delbert and Lola Alexander George, she had been employed as a florist in Eureka, Calif., and was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter.

On Dec. 17, 1965, at Arcadia, Calif., she married Elvin E. Landers who survives of the home. Other survivors include: one stepdaughter, Delores Jean Reeder of McKinleyville, Calif.; three brothers, D.L. George of Olive Branch, Miss., Geraldean George of Hot Springs, Ark., and Hershel Ray George of Nesbit, Miss.; one sister, Patsy Blakely of Benton, Ark.; and three stepgrandchildren and one step great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one stepson, Elvin Eugene Landers Jr. and one infant sister.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Garland officiating. Burial will follow in the Dexter (MO) Cemetery.
