GOLDEN WEDDING

Mr. & Mrs. Samuel Zike, who live four miles southwest of Harrodsburg, celebrate their golden wedding anniversary Friday by holding a family reunion at the old homestead where they now live. Six of the seven children who are living are to spend the day with their parents and one son J.M. Zike has arrived from McAlister, Okla., that he may be here. M. Zike has just passed his 69th birthday and his good wife has passed her 71st birthday. Both are in good health and are on the farm where they began married life 50 years ago.

A feature of the anniversary day is to be a big dinner which Mrs. Zike is making preparations for today. The children who are to be present with their families are: J. M. Zike of McAlister, Okla., Luther Zike, Mrs. Ida Vantyla, Charles Zike and Mrs. Robert (Ora) Massy of Harrodsburg, and Mrs. Newton (Emma) Wright, of Victor. S. A. Zike, another son living in Oklahoma was unable to leave his business.

Josephus, John Melvin, Jacob, Mary, Emma, Ida E, William, Samuel, Ora, Litna, & Charles.
