Mickey will always be remembered for being the BEST at what she loved the most, being a MOMMA. Mickey loved her kids unconditionally and it showed in everything she did, and every breath she took. Mickey’s kids and grandkids were the Light of her Life. Mickey was formerly employed at Tattnall Square Academy. Mickey was always a very giving person, not only to her kids but to others. She loved to go and be around family and friends. She was one of the strongest women to ever walk this earth, no matter what life dealt her, she faced it head on and handled it with dignity and grace.
Mickey is the youngest of eight children. She was predeceased by her parents, Nora Belle Keys and Lewis Benjamin Aultman, Sr.; siblings, Ruby Claire Berry, Sara Sumner, Laura Belle Morgan, Mary Jo “Joey” Land, Barbara Jean “BJ” Davis, Lewis Benjamin Aultman, Jr. and Roy Alan Aultman. Mickey was married to only one man, the Love of her Life, who also predeceased her, Edward Grantland Palmer. They would have celebrated 57 years this past March.
Visitation will be held Wednesday at 6:00pm to 8:00 pm at Hart’s Mortuary Cherry Street, the Service will be held Thursday, September 13, 2018, at 1:00pm at the chapel of Hart’s Mortuary, Cherry Street with the Reverend Johnny McGowan officiating. Burial will be at Byron City Cemetery.
One of Mickey’s personal request was if you attend her funeral please attend comfortably. No suits and ties, be casual and comfortable.
