Thaddeus Poage Carroll, 67, formerly of Rock Hill, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 in Boca Raton, Florida.
A graveside service will take place at 1:00 pm Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Rose Hill Cemetery, 5 Wright Street, York, SC. At 2:30 pm there will be a Memorial Service and Reception at the Memorial Garden of Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church, 421 Oakland Avenue, Rock Hill.
Thad was born on September 4, 1950 to the late Thad L. Carroll and the late Mabel Poage Carroll. Thad graduated from Rock Hill High School in 1968 and was a proud member of the Class of 1972 at the Citadel, Charleston, SC.
Thad is survived by his sister, Cathy Carroll Gross, (Robert) of Beaufort, SC; his nephews, David Gross, Rob Gross, (Terri) and their sons, Will and Charlie and many friends who are left to cherish Thad's memory.
