Paul Theodore Williamson 84, of 115 Sunset Lane Marietta, OH, died at his home at 1:15 P.M. on Saturday March 3, 2007. He was born at Archers Fork in Washington County, OH, on September 2, 1922 to the late Ray Taylor Williamson and Effie O. Adams Williamson.

He served in the U.S. Army from December 13, 1942 until February 12, 1946. He was in battles in Central Europe and had his combat infrantryman badge, American Theater Ribbon, EAME Theater Ribbon w/1 Bronze Star, Victory Medal World War II and Good Conduct Medal. He was in Germany on VE day. He returned to Marietta and married Stella Armann of Powhatan Point, OH, on December 13, 1946, and they were married for fifty-eight years before she died December 22, 2004. He worked for Marietta Ignition for over forty years until his retirement.

He was a member of American Legion Post #64 and V.F.W. Post #5108 both of Marietta, OH.

He is survivied by one sister June Fritsche, one niece Alisa Fritsche and two nephews Neil Fritsche (Deborah) all of Marietta and Gale Fritsche of New Jersey. A sister in law Beth Armann and her daughter April. Paul's last years were blessed by the companionship and care of Sandi and Damon Medeiros.

Services will be held on Tuesday March 6, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel 1021 Pike Street Marietta, OH, with Pastor Damon Medeiros officiating and burial with full military honors by American Legion Post #64 and V.F.W. Post #5108 to follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call Monday March 5, 2007 from 6 to 8 P.M. and until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
