Charles L. Becker
Charles L. Becker, 87, of Langhorne, died on Friday at St. Mary Medical Center.

Mr. Becker was born in Saint Clair to the late Charles and Mary Thomas Becker and was a 1938 graduate of Saint Clair High School. He was an original Fairless Hills homeowner where he resided until moving to Langhorne in 2003. Mr. Becker was employed with U.S. Steel's Fairless Works for 29 years until retiring in 1986. He served in the Army prior to World War II and then joined the Navy serving with the SeaBees in the Pacific during the war. Mr. Becker was a member of the American Legion Post 834 in Fallsington. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan and also enjoyed deep sea fishing.

Mr. Becker was the beloved husband of the late Beatrice T. Becker and father of the late Nancy Becker.

He is the loving father of Barbara Becker, Langhorne, with whom he resided, and Charles W. Becker, Morrisville.

He will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Sara Yost and Jane Beaumont, both of Saint Clair; nieces; nephews; and his constant companion, his beloved toy poodle, Paddy.

The family would also like to express their special thanks to Ava who helped take loving care of Becker during his final year.

Funeral services will be held on 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, followed by interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
