Bruce was born January 4, 1925 in Omaha, NE to Marshall P. Furnald and Blanch (Selicman) Furnald. He served in the U.S. Navy for many years. He was united in marriage to Betty Walker on February 8, 1947 in Kansas City, MO. Bruce was employed at John Deere, in Ottumwa, for 30 years before finally retiring in 1976.
He is survived by his son, Michael Furnald, FL; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by, his parents; wife, Betty; all his brothers and sisters.
