Mrs. Irene Paternal, 56, of 409 N. Madison St., West Frankfort, died about 6 a.m. Saturday in Union Hospital in West Frankfort. She had been ill about a year.

Mrs. Paternal was owner and operator of Irene's Beauty shop at her home. She was born Sept. 20, 1914, in Spillertown to Walter and Mary Dobroski Sr.

Survivirs include a son, Charles Paternal of Brookfield; daughters, Mrs. Warren Turner, Carterville, and Mrs. Scott Jones, Ridgway; brothers, Walter and Henry, both of Evansville, Ind.; and Charles of Houston, Tex., and a sister, Mrs. Josephine Suchoski of Cudahy, Wis.

A daughter preceeded her in death.

Services were held in the Central Methodist Church of West Frankfort, where she was a member. Rev. Ellis Dugger, pastor of the First Methodist Church, West Frankfort, assisted by the Rev. John Younkcr, pastor of Central Methodist officiated.
