"Mrs Hazel J Muir, 76, formerly of 886 W Central Ave, Titusville, died at 3:20 am Saturday, Feb 18, 1989, at the Sunset Manor. Mrs Muir was a resident of the Manor for the past nine years. Mrs Muir was born at Coal Hill, Venango County, on June 4, 1912, the daughter of the late Oliver and Nora Fye Goodman. She was married to Ralph Bigley. She later married Orra W Muir Sr on July 1, 1947, in Kentucky. Mr Muir died on Aug 18, 1985. Mrs Muir was at one time the manager of the former Arcade Restaurant on Diamond Street. She was later the owner of the Huddle Restaurant on North Franklin Street. She was retired for the past several years. Mrs Muir was a former member of the Hydetown United Methodist Church and a former member of the Acacia Chapter #30, Order of Eastern Star. Mrs Muir is survived by one daughter, Mrs Frank A (Carol) Beeles III of Titusville; one step-daughter, Mrs Albert (Sue) Lowros of Titusville; three sons, Gilbert R Bigley of Titusville, RD 1, Eugene S Bigley and Randy W Muir, both of Titusville; one step-son, O William Muir of Titusville; nine grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Willard Goodman of Coal Hill; three sisters, Mrs Grace Confer of Venus, Mrs Elda Slye of Coal Hill and Mrs Rudy (Edna) Finkbinder of Strattenville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs Muir was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Friends will be received at the Gordon B Garrett Funeral Home...The funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home at 11 am Tuesday with Rev C E Depew, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery."
