LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP Corey "C.J." Gauker, Jr., 16, died Friday evening, May 4, 2007, in Middle Paxton Township due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born January 26, 1991, in Harrisburg, the son of Corey L. Gauker, Sr., with whom he lived, and Christy A. (Bull) Bowman of Manchester. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Cara J. Gauker at home and Ragan E. Bowman of Manchester; two brothers, Mason J. Trimble and Justin M. Bowman, both of Manchester; paternal grandparents, Glenn and Mary Gauker of Duncannon; maternal grandparents, George and Jenny Bull of Manchester; paternal great-grandfather, George W. Gauker of Steelton; and maternal greatgrandmother, Alvita Schell of Manchester. Corey was a sophomore at the Dauphin County Technical School and was a Junior Firefighter and member of the Paxtonia Fire Company. He played hockey for the Hershey Junior Bears and the Central Dauphin High School. Corey also attended the Community Evangelical Free Church of Harrisburg. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 6011 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Duncannon Cemetery following the service. Friends are invited to join the family for a reception to celebrate Corey's life at the Paxtonia Fire Company on Thursday at 4 p.m.
