Rev E F Alexander, of Pocahontas county, pastor of the Presbyterian Churches, at Green Bank, Dunmore and Frost, died of obstruction of the bowels, at the home of Mr John R Warwick, in that county, on Monday, the 6th inst, aged about 31 years; and after appropriate funeral services , conducted by Rev Dr David S Sydenstricker and Wm T Price, his body was buried in the churchyard at Green Bank. Mr Alexander was a native of North Carolina and had been preaching in Pocahontas about four years. He was greatly beloved by his people and at the funeral there was an unusual and very touching demonstration of grief at his unexpected and untimely death.
