World War II Veteran.
Loving Brother, Uncle, Husband, Father and Grand Father.

After World War II, he and his wife June raised a family in the countryside and had 6 children.
Spent much of his life living on a farm out in McFarland, WI back in the 50's all the way to his retirement from the truck driving industry in 1990.
He sold his farm in the 90's before living out his twilight years in a mobile home park in Deerfield, WI.

A die hard lover of classic western movies out of Hollywood, he also dabbled in photography and had a curious interest in the advent of home recording. In the 1980s he bought a camcorder and began filming home videos of animals, his grand children and humming birds.

In 2004, Robert passed away leaving behind loving family from numerous sides. He requested no funeral services.
