Samuel Eyer died at the home of his son, John Eyer, near Mt. Joy, on Monday of a complication of diseases, aged 83 years. He is survived by two sons and one daughter, Alice, wife of Truman Walk, of East Donegal township; Irvin K, of Columbia, and John K, with whom he resided. Fifteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one brother, Henry, of California and one sister, Mrs Fanny Gish of Brookville, Ohio, also survive. Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at the home of John Eyer, near Mount Joy, at 1 o'clock and at 2 o'clock in Reich's Church. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
