Nixon-Funeral sevices for Durward Edmond Self Jr., who died on Saturday in Columbus, were held on Sunday, Oct. 21 at the First United Methodist Church in that city, with graveside services at the Nixon Cemetery Sunday afternoon.
Mr. Self was born on April 2, 1939 in Nixon, to Durward Self Sr. and Inez Passmore Self. He and his wife, Grace, were married on Dec.28, 191 and they made their home in Columbus, where he had served as count attorney for Colorado County.
He was a member of both the Texas and the Washington State Bar Association.
