Services for Billy Luce age 76 of Palestine will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Bailey & Foster Chapel with Chaplain Shane Barnes officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mr. Luce passed away Tuesday August 28, 2018 at his residence. He was born April 28, 1942 in Houston County to Barney Moore Luce and Verna Jeanette English Luce. Mr. Luce was a self employed paint contractor for many years before retiring. He served in the 49th Armored Division of the Army National Guard. He was instrumental in starting the PYAA Baseball Association and served in different capacities for numerous years. Billy was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Mr. Luce was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Barkley Luce, Buford Luce and Carroll Luce, brothers-in-law Rudy Kaudelka and Jackie Jordan. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Lenora Allen Luce, daughter Marley Kay Luce, sons, Jeff Luce and wife Monina and Stewart Luce and wife Tammy all of Palestine, sisters, Martha Kaudelka of Palestine and Janie Jordan of Lufkin, a brother Winston Luce and wife Eddie of Palestine, six grandchildren, Jennifer Luce, Anna Luce, Cole Collins, Logan Luce, Shelby Luce and Presley Luce, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Bailey & Foster Chapel.
