Peoria, IL - Garnet M. Burnham, 89, of Springfield, formerly of Sun City, Ariz., and Peoria, died at 4:45 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 1994, at The Abbe Retirement Center in Springfield.

Born Aug. 6, 1904, in Macomb to Frank S. and Sarah Breckenmaker Moon, she married Reuben M. Burnham on July 15, 1926. He died in 1990.

She also was preceded in death by one son, Frenly, two brothers, two sisters and one granddaughter.

Surviving are two sons, William M. of Danville, CA and Jon R. of Morton; one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Yvonne) Kehl of Springfield; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Francis R. Moon of Sacramento, CA and Howard Moon and John Moon, both of Macomb; two sisters, Dorothy Trotter of Macomb and Ruth Loewenstein of Highland; and several nieces and nephews.

A 1925 graduate of Western Illinois University, she taught in Glen Ellyn. She was hostess, coordinator and tour guide for Del E. Webb Construction Co. for 25 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of Valley Church Religious Science in Sun City, Ariz.

Cremation has been accorded.
