Robert (Bob) Kieth Bernosky passed away on the morning of the 18th of July 2018 after being
in a car accident. He was fifty five years old.

Bob was predeceased by his loving parents Roger A. Bernosky and Lorene E. (Elwell) Bernosky of Swanville and his eldest brother Steven A. Bernosky of Swanville.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Diane M. Bernosky; his older brother Richard L.
Bernosky; by his three sons Justin R. Bernosky, Dylan M. Bernosky and Isaac R. Bernosky;
and by his three grandchildren Oliver W. Mitchell, Elizabeth T. Bernosky and his first biological
grandson to be born in November. Bob was also blessed with many in laws, nephews, nieces,
cousins and friends, all of whom he loved whole heartedly.

Bob was born at Waldo County General Hospital and grew up in Swanville. He moved away
and settled around the Damariscotta area where he would find his loving wife and start a family a short while later. He joined the Lions Club and not only enjoyed the company of his fellow Lions but also the volunteer work they did, eventually working his way up to earn the title of King Lion. He still made family a priority and regularly made the trip up the coast to visit. When his mother passed the decision was made to purchase the family house and return home.

Bob joined the Belfast chapter of the Lions Club and would eventually become King Lion for a short while. In all he spent over 30 years in the Lions Club organization. When he wasn’t volunteering at local events he was on the sideline or in the bleachers supporting his sons, sometimes even behind the concession stand. He often would talk the ear off whomever would let him with a smile on his face and a look of genuine care in his eyes.
