Gladys Esponge Tauzin, 86, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano
passed away Feb. 27, 2016. Visitation will take place on March 1, 2016 at
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off from 5 pm till 9 pm. A funeral service
will be held at 8 pm in the funeral parlor

with cremation following.

Mrs. Gladys is survived by her husband of 19 years Frank Tauzin Sr., sons Frank
Tauzin Jr. wife Glenda, Louis Brunet wife Juanita, and Henry Brunet, daughters
Lena Brunet companion Daniel Naquin, and Anna Matherne husband Rex, numerous
grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, brothers
George, Ramise, Ernest, Clifton, and Robinson Esponge, and sister Lolita
Gisclair.

Mrs. Tauzin was preceded in death by her parents Gustive Sr. and Selima Guidry
Esponge, son Herbert Brunet, brothers Linwood, Gustive Jr. and Clannis Esponge,
and sisters Lena Esponge and Andrea Toups.

She loved playing poker keno, sewing and baking and was a member of the Women's
Auxiliary with the American Legion where she was a color bearer.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
