DEATH OF SIGEL MARCHEL
Sigel Marchel, Monroe township farmer, died at his home, south of Winterset, Saturday evening, March 2nd, about 6:30 o'clock, with a heart attack. Mr. Marchel had apparently been in good health, and had assisted with the moving on the previous day. He was 72 years of age.
The Rev. Mr. Thompson conducted his funeral services, at Tidrick's funeral home, at 1:30 o'clock, Monday afternoon, March 4th, and burial was made in the Peru cemetery. Mr. Marchel leaves his wife, and one son and one daughter.

FATHER OF LOCAL MAN DIES
S. F. Marshall, father of Gale Marshall of Earlham, died suddenly Saturday evening at his home nine miles south of Winterset. A heart attack brought his sudden death. He was 72 years old.
The funeral was held at Tidrick's funeral home in Winterset Monday afternoon. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery. Mr. Marshall leaves his wife, one son and one daughter.
