"Mollie" was the daughter of Mary and Philander Stone. She married Elisha Higgins and they had one daughter, Pearl, who was raised by her maternal grand-parents in Goree, Texas.

Mrs. Mary Higgins, the wife of E.T. Higgins and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P.P. Stone died at her home on Fish Creek on 8 November 1895 of pneumonia. She was 20 years of age. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survived by her husband and a baby.
