Revolutionary War veteran

Solomon Hasbrouck was baptized as Zalomon on 8 April 1750 in the Old Dutch Church at Kingston, son of Abraham Haasbroek and his wife Rachel Sleght.

He married Annatje “Ann” Van Steenbergen on 12 May 1771 at the Old Dutch Church at Kingston.

He was a Private/Sargeant, serving under Capt. Moses Cantine and Capt. Evert Bogardus. He signed the Articles of Association in 1775.
