Mrs. Ethel (Chambers) Look, 40, wife of Fred Look, died in Brattleboro Memorial hospital Thursday, July 27, at 1.27 a.m. from an internal hemorrhage. Mrs. Look was born in Jonesboro, Me., In 1893, one of five children of Charles and Nora Chambers. She was educated in her home town and was married to Mr. Look in 1909 at Columbia Falls, Me. Four children were born of this union. They are Hilda, wife of Francis Miner, Eliza, Fred, Jr., and David. She leaves one granddaughter, Rose Marie Miner. Mr. and Mrs. Look came to Wilmington and bought a farm on Cold Brook road where they have since lived. Mrs. Look was an energetic business woman. She conducted a chicken business and silver fox farm and with Mr. Look owned a large dairy, supplying many families with choice dairy butter. She came to the village only a few days previous to her death to transact business. She was a very attractive woman and always had a pleasant greeting and smile for everyone. She will be greatly missed in the home and by a large circle of friends who deeply sympathize with the bereaved family. She was a member of the Methodist church and a member of the S. O. U. V. auxiliary.
