Mary Ann DeBroeck, 96, formerly of Wardsville, died Tuesday at the St. Joseph Home. She was born May 2, 1889, at Wardsville, the daughter of Fred and Catherine Schnieders Markway. She was married Aprio 10, 1912, at Wardsville, to Leo DeBroeck, who died Sept. 21, 1977.

She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, Our Lady's Sodality of the parish and the Over 50 Cllub, D of I.

Survivors include: four sons, Fred DeBroeck, Wardsville, Ray DeBroeck, Aurora County, Ed Debroeck, Mills Creek, Wash., and Leo DeBroeck, Wichita, Kan.; two daughters, Angeline Schepers, WArdsville, and Bernice Block, Jefferson City; and 22 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the St. Stanislaus Church, with the Rev. Brendan Doyle officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemeery.

Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the Dlle Funreral Home with a rosary at 7:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Stanislaus Education Foundation or the St. Joseph Home.
