He was born in Walton County on February 14, 1948 to the late Polly Stepp Adams and the late Ralph Adams. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother in law, the late Dean Brown and the late Mell Brown.He is survived by his wife, Merrelyn Adams; son, Benjamin Adams; daughters and sons in law, Ellen and Josh Smith, Jill and Jordan Weldon; sister and brother in law, Ann and Joe Hammonds; grandchildren: Hayleigh and Ethan Smith, Emersyn, Caz, and Jax Weldon. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Harmony Baptist Church with Dwayne Hicks and Jordan Weldon officiating. Interment will follow at Harmony Baptist Church. A memorial service will also held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Carrollton First Christian Church. Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
