William L. Criswell, 81, of Route 1, Hardinsburg, died Wednesday, January 30, 1991, at his home.
He is the son of the late John R. & Ida Clare Smith Criswell, born on January 2, 1910.
He was a native of English, retired cashier and vice president of the old Hardinsburg State Bank and an independent insurance agent.
He was a past president of the Indiana Bankers Association, past master of Indiana Masonic Lodge 470 and Blue River Masonic Lodge 475 and a member of Scottish Rite, English Veterans of Foreign Wars and English Christian Church.
Survivors included three nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife the former Wilma N. Johnson, who died in December 1976.
A memorial service was held Sunday, February 3, 1991, at the Hardinsburg Christian Church.
Burial was in the Sloan Cemetery in English. Dillman-Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
