The Fort Wayne native had worked for General Motors as a secretary, a vice president of the Fort Wayne Art School and Museum, and president of Fort Wayne Needlework Guild. She was a volunteer at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, at Imperial Point Hospital, as a reader to the blind and as a Red Cross Gray Lady at Baer Field Army Hospital during World War II.
Surviving is her stepdaughter-in-law, Jean Walker of Iowa City, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eric A. Baade, her second husband, Donald H. Walker Sr., and her stepson Donald H. Walker Jr.
Committal services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Lindenwood Cemetery Chapel, Fort Wayne.
