Her husband Ivan A. Marlar whom she married October 15, 1954 preceded her in death.
She was a 1948 graduate of Rockville High School. She worked at Clearwater Drug Store in Rockville for a number of years, leaving there shortly after marriage to begin a family. She was a member of the New Bethel Church where she played the piano several years. She spent many hours doing embroidery work.
Survivors include two sons, Vernon Marlar of Yalaha, Florida and Dwayne “Shorty” Marlar of Rockville; two daughters, Denzel Marlar of Mansfield and Denise Cuffle of Terre Haute; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, David Marlar and Dwight Marlar; one brother, Austin Bryant and one sister, Edith Bryant.
Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Catlin.
