Pearl A. Rohour, 83, of Newman, formerly of Jamaica, died at 9:35 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at Peterson Health Care Facility in Newman.
She was a nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville until retirement. She loved to go to rummage sales and play with her grandkids.
She was born July 27, 1923, in Shenandoah, IA., the daughter of Ray and Ruth Eaton Boen.
She married William P. Rohour in 1942. He preceded her July 1978.
Survivors include: a son, Michael Rohour of Jamaica; a brother, Keith Boen of Danville; a sister, Sherri Kobie; two grandsons, Cody Rohour of Indianola and Jarrod Kemper of Danville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her husband and one daughter, Robin Kemper, on Aug. 23, 2002.
