Ash, sister of John Daly, former shoe merchant of this city, died at her home in San Jose at 5 o’clock Sunday afternoon, according to word received here by Mrs. G.A. Kesselring, who left yesterday to attend the funeral. Mrs. Ash was born in Chico and was a member of a well-known pioneer family.
Teresa Ellen Daly Ash was married to Francis Robert Ash, who died 1947 in Santa Clara County and is buried in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, San Jose, Santa Clara, CA. Since Teresa died Sept. 10, 1916, in San Jose, she too is buried there.
