Coley P. Clark, 83, of State Line, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Forrest General Hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was a retired Air Force Veteran who served in Korea and Vietnam. He was very patriotic and was a proud supporter of the Armed Services. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Gloria and Dora; son, Murvon Earl Clark; parents, Hattie and Coley Clark Sr.; brother and sisters, Rae Bell McLain, Birl Clark, and Ethel McLain.
He is survived by his children, Perry Clark (Lori), Susan Dimauro (Vinnie), Pam Dearman (Keith), John Clark (Tina), Matthew Clark (Jerri Beth), and Jeffery Clark (Jennifer); 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Vermell Walley, Huey P. Clark (Vonita), Barbara Farmer (Irvin); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A wake will be held from 6-9 pm on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Freeman Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 10 am at Freeman Funeral Home with Bro. Grant McLain Bro. Bruce Walley officiating. Interment will be held in the Fellowship Cemetery.
