Norma Elizabeth (Cullison) Wakely, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on October 22, 1934, in Wellston, Oklahoma, and departed this life on August 16, 2018, at her home in Chandler at the age of 83 years.

Norma was the daughter of Lloyd Albert Cullison and Inez Zephyr (Conelly) Cullison. She graduated from Wellston High School. Norma married Harold David Wakely on February 13, 1953, in Wellston at the First United Methodist Church. She and Harold have owned and operated the H&S Movie Theater in Chandler since 1975. Norma was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Chandler, and past Sunday School Teacher, she also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Chapter 64 in Chandler, and helped with Girl Scout Brownie Troops. Norma enjoyed taking care of her family, sewing, painting, talking on the CB radio back in the day, and watching soap operas. She will be greatly missed.

Her parents, Lloyd and Inez; one son, Alan, and one brother George preceded Norma in death.

Survivors include, her husband, Harold David of the home, sons and daughters-in-law, Randall David and Lela Wakely of Chandler, Steven Wakely of Chandler, Harold Dean Jr. and Tina Wakely of Chandler, and Cheryl Wakely of Chandler; one daughter and son-in-law, Diane Elizabeth and Michael Leftwich of Ponca City, Oklahoma; one sister, Virginia McCurdy of Jones, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Josh, Chad, Kaci and husband Tanner, Brandon, Stevie and Melissa, Kala, Brooke and husband Brian, Kyle, Justine, Michele and husband Tony, and Michael Jr.; great-grandchildren, Kaedon, Peyton, Jacelyn, Kaelie, Chloe, Tony Jr., and Kodie Rose; other relatives and many friends.

The Wakley family will be receiving friends at the Parks Brothers Chapel in Chandler on Sunday, August 19, 2018, from 4:00PM to 6:00PM.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, August 20, 2018, at the Parks Brothers Chapel in Chandler, with Rev. Alan Carson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
