Mrs. Crew was born in Eagleville, MO and was a daughter of the late Jesse and Gladys Leeper
Beeks. She was a former resident of Shenandoah, Iowa, and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the P.E.O. and was a volunteer with the American Red Cross. In Asheville she was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Judy McDonough and her husband Jim of Alexander and Barbara Nelms and her husband Lanny of San Pedro, CA, and three granddaughters, Jill McDonough of Boston, MA, Susan McDonough of Monhegon Island, Maine, and Molly McDonough of Dunedon, New Zealand.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Bethel United Methodist Church with the Rev.
Terry Duckworth officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
