Mildred Ledell Followill was born on March 7, 1932 in Mead, Oklahoma to Cleo Kenneth Brown and Ruby Ledell (Smith) Brown. She passed away from this life on August 11, 2018 surrounded by her family. She will be greatly missed.

She married her best friend and the love of her life, Mitchell Leon Followill and they had six children and one adopted son. Mildred loved coming to southeast Oklahoma to the park. She had a passion for cooking and was known for making the world's greatest chocolate gravy. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Mildred is survived by her children; Steve Aaron Followill of Oklahoma City, Ralph Dale Followill of Talihina, Chris Daniel Followill and wife Sharon of Newalla, Oklahoma, Ivan Leon Followill and wife Kathy of Oklahoma City, Cameron Ray Followill and wife Cindy of Oklahoma City, and adopted son Earl Clayton Baines Jr. of Jones, Oklahoma; three brothers, Stanley Brown, Jackie Brown, and Joe Brown; fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, Cleo and Ruby Brown; husband, Mitchell Leon Followill; son, Stanley Michael Followill; one sister, Loretta Franklin and two brothers, Kenneth Eugene Brown and Jimmy Lee Brown.

Graveside services will be on Wednesday, August 15th 2018 at 3:00PM at the Albion Cemetery in Albion, Oklahoma with Bro. Randy Sholund officiating.
