Kathleen, as her parents lovingly called her, brought much happiness to her parents and to her sisters Dorothea and Marian, then ages six and eleven. The whole family loved cooing softly to her while she stared up at them from her bassinet, and holding her in their arms. Her middle name was from her mother. Sadly, she died two months later. She was buried in nearby Camptown Cemetery, and her parents, Mildred and Andy later shared her tombstone.
Kathryn died of cerebral spinal meningitis. She was buried on May 29, 1922.
