ALBERT BLANKINSHIP JR ., 90, of Memphis, retired master mechanic for Illinois Central Railroad after 43 years, died of heart failure Thursday at Methodist Hospital South. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Forest Hill Funeral Home South with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery South. He was a member of Bethany Parkway United Methodist Church. Mr. Blankinship, the husband of Lois R. Blankinship, also leaves a daughter, Faye Hunt of Chicago Heights, Ill.; a sister, Florence Aylesworth of Memphis, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Bethany Parkway United Methodist Church, American Heart Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.
