Katherine was the daughter of David Miller Hake and married Elizabeth Bond. Katherine first married William Howard Otterman. William was born 1874 and died in 1905 in Ford City, Pennsylvania.
In 1900 Katherine and William were living in Mifflin, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. In 1910 Katherine is widowed and living in Cleveland, Ohio with her two sons and mother Elizabeth.
Katherine then married Fisher Metcalf Chamberlain. Fisher had been previously married to Gertrude Louise Brill.
In 1940 Katherine and Fisher were living in Monrovia, California.
"My great grandma Katherine was known also to us as Grandma Kit, and I've been told she had sisters Gussie, minnie, and Lila, and two brothers George and Alvin. So,my great grandma Kit must have been your aunt Kitty, and my grandpa William (Bill) Otterman, who was born to Kit in 1906 would be your cousin. I've been told that Kitty's husband, also named William Otterman died near the end of 1905, before my grandpa William was born. I don't know much about him beside that. I do have more info though on the Otterman side beyond that, but I don't know much else about Kitty and George's side except that their parents were David Hake and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Bond, both from Ohio and married in 1878 in Trumbull, Ohio. Also, I knew a Grace Hake Pendleberry, who was a cousin of Kitty and George. When I was growing up here in California, she lived with us, until 1975. I only remember her a little bit because I was only 4 then. But my parents obviously knew her much more."
