Husband of Julia A. (Weaver) Hall.

Jeremiah Hall was born in Vermont, one of twelve children born to Elihu and Roxana Hall. Little is known of his early life. He married Julia A. Weaver of Saranac, New York where they lived at the time of 1850 and 1860 U.S. census. The Halls were probably married around 1846 for their only child, Leroy Weaver Hall, was born in 1847. By the time of Jeremiah's death in 1869, the Hall family had relocated and were living in Passaic, New Jersey where he was identified as a minister.

Rev. Jeremiah Hall is the only burial in the family plot at Cedar Lawn which was purchased by Rev. Hall's son, Leroy Hall. It appears that after Rev. Hall's death, his wife, Julia, and son, Leroy, relocated to Northern California where they lived for the remainder of their lives and are both buried together there.

Note: Cedar Lawn cemetery records identify the owner of the plot as Leroy Weaver Hall, son of Rev. Hall. The plot was purchased at the time of Rev. Hall's death in 1869. Leroy Hall's gravestone in California spells his first name as LaRoy. Both first names have been found in historical records and it looks like he alternatively used either one of them at times to suit the occasion.
