Grant Lyman Adams, Sr., 90, passed away quietly of natural causes on Thursday, August 2, 2018 in Fruit Heights, Utah, after a wonderful and full life. Grant was born to John Redd and Verda (Lyman) Adams in Logan, Utah on January 19, 1928. Grant grew up in California. He graduated valedictorian from Caruthers Union High School and later graduated from Fresno State University in Mechanical Engineering. While in college, Grant completed ROTC and was commissioned into the US Air Force upon graduation. After Officer Training, he was stationed at Eglin Air Force Base in the panhandle of Florida. There he fell in love with and married Florence Eulala (Lala) Weston on February 5, 1955. Grant and Lala raised their five children, Laurie Anne (Jeffrey) Nelson, Grant Lyman, Jr. (Susan Terry), John Michael, David Endsley (Mirja Vikman), and Michelle Annette, in a loving and Christ-centered home. After Lala's passing in 2008, he married Billie Geneva Robinson, the second love of his life, on June 19, 2010. Grant is survived by four of his children and step-daughter Beth-Ann (Jeffrey) Donahue, 13 grandchildren, two step-granddaughters and 13 great-grandchildren. Grant was preceded in death by his wife Lala, wife Billie, son Michael, his parents, and siblings Eugene, Julia, Reed, and John. Grant was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS).
