anet Marie Babb, 61, peacefully passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was led Home by our Savior, but rest assured there were many waiting on her arrival, including her Daddy and Momma, James Wencil and Elma Fay Red; her husband, Parker Glassco and their fur baby, Ava. Although our hearts are broken here on this Earth, she is now pain-free and elated at the reunion with those who have gone before her.

Janet was born in Newfoundland, Canada on June 5, 1957, but her life led her many places including the Philippines, Key West, FL, Texas and Oklahoma. She was a hippie chick at heart, loved to grow plants, and was a diehard Beatles fan. She would kick your butt at Crazy 8s any day of the week and would throw down on the original Pac-Man. She loved to play pool and ping-pong, always had a mean hand at penny-ante poker and won most every game of Wahoo! She was great at many things, but she was by far the best Mom to all her children, biological, bonus, or otherwise.

She is survived by her sons, Michael R. Babb Jr. and his wife, Billie of Farmersville, TX, Luke A Babb and his wife, Jackie of Lavon, TX; daughter Katie R. Jordan and her husband, Cody of Caddo, OK; bonus son, Richard A. Glassco, II and his wife, Rashell of Denison, TX; bonus daughters, Randi Tibbetts of Denison, TX and Amy Kavanaugh and her husband, Evan of Salem, OR; brothers, Jim Red and his wife, Helen of Amarillo, TX and David Red of Alexandria, VA; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mom, may the Dr. Pepper always be flowing, the shrimp be endless, and your heavenly adventures be glorious! We miss you and love you, but even through the tears and the heartache, we know that we have all gained the most beautiful angel there ever was!

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Waples Memorial United Methodist Church in Denison, TX.
