George Warman was married to Mabel McCormick (1892-1930) in 1918 in Smith County, Kansas. Mabel was the daughter of William P. McCormick (1856-1909) and Lucetta Dell (Smith) McCormick (1857-1940).
On 30 May 1930, Mabel and her youngest daughter, Irene, were killed in a horrific train-auto accident in Webster County, Nebraska. Not long after the accident, George and his two older children left Kansas and migrated to Missouri.
