"Bart S. Shaw, 91, died Monday, July 9, 1990, at Wright Memorial Hospital, Trenton. He had been a resident of Laredo since 1934.

He was born July 22, 1898 in Grundy County to Lewis D. and Lottie A. Scott Shaw. On May 1, 1922, in Kansas City, he married Otie Elizabeth Sherrow. She preceded him in death on December 10, 1987. Mr. Shaw was a self-employed farmer and carpenter and had also worked for the Milwaukee Railroad for 15 years.

Survivors include a son, Bart E. Shaw of Trenton; two daughters, Mrs. Yuba Clodfelter of Kansas City and Mrs. Merl (Ruby) Elliott of Laredo; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter and three brothers.

Services will be Wednesday, July 11, 1990, at 1:30 p.m. at the Robertson-Lindley Funeral Home of Laredo. Burial will be in the Roselawn Cemetery, Trenton." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, July 10, 1990
