Sandra Hurst and Michael Mader were married August 1, 1970 in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, living in North Royalton, Ohio. They raised one child, daughter April. At retirement in 2009 they moved to Lyman, South Carolina along with their daughter's family. After a rather short illness, she chose to live out her remaining days at her home hospice, lovingly cared for by her husband Michael and daughter April's family.
