Loretta Amundson, 87, of Elgin, died Tuesday afternoon, May 1, 2007, at Good Samaritan Center in West Union after a brief illness. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, East Clermont Lutheran Church, Clermont, by Pastor Don Berg. Burial: East Clermont Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Schutte's Clermont Funeral Chapel in Clermont and one hour before services Saturday at the church.
Survivors include a son, N. Mark Amundson of Fort Collins, Colo.; two daughters, Patricia (Gary) Pampuch of Whitehall, Wis., and Julee (Phil) Metzger; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Etwina Malven of Maynard.
