MRS. ORA McCULLY, MAGNOLIA, DIES

Funeral services for Mrs. Ora (Leota) McCully, 70, Rural Magnolia, who died Saturday, April 15, 1972, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Ann Church, Toluca, IL, the Rev. Roland Ulmer and the Rev. William Schumacher, officiating.

Burial was in St. Ann's Cemetery at Toluca.

Born June 22, 1901, in Rutland, she was a daughter of James and Theresa Wiltz Maher. She was married February 24, 1925 in Rutland to Ora McCully who survives.

Also surviving are a son, S. Sgt. Richard McCully, with the U.S. Air Force in Anchorage, Alaska, two daughters, Mrs. Norbert (Marianne) Ely of Henry and Mrs. David (Joyce) Cullen of Tinley Park, 14 grandchildren, three brothers, William Maher of Minonk, Raymond Maher of St. Petersburg Beach, FL, and Joseph Maher of Middletown, OH, and three sisters, Mrs. Arch (Rita) O'Neil of Rutland, Mrs. Lyle (Dolores) Kennedy of Streator, and Mrs. Edmund (Gladys) O'Brien of Ancona.

A sister preceded her in death.

She had taught in schools in Rutland, Toluca, Varna, Henry, and Chillicothe over a 40 year period, retiring in May 1971.
