According to her death record she was the daughter of Jeremiah (b. North Carolina) and Margaret Loy (born Adair Co). I don't know if Jeremiah was married twice and that Margaret was his first wife or if Mary is a nickname for Margaret or if Mary Bennett's death record had her mother's name erroneously recorded. The cause of death is listed as fever.

For the Mary Loy who is buried here to be Mary Bennett's mother is possible, but Mary Loy would have been extremely young when she gave birth to the younger Mary.

She was married to Alexander A. Bennett and had at least 2 children, Hector O. and Mary E. Bennett.
