Virgil E. Garretson
Virgil E. Garretson, 82, of Belle died Friday, Jan. 21, 2000, at home after a short illness. He was a retired miner with 30 years of service, an Army veteran of World War II, a recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star and was a native of Cedar Grove. Surviving: daughter, Sheila Garretson Brown of Belle; sons, Jeff, Jerry and Terry of Belle; three grandchildren. There will be no service or visitation. The body will be cremated. Fidler-Frame Funeral Home, Belle, is in charge of arrangements.
